Recipe fun – What?

Already instagrammed < is that a verb?> a photo of some of our protein snacks from last night’s practice – we are working with Kuljit Sodhi again of Galitcha for an upcoming show – more details on that when we get them!

From last spring’s Festival of India promo at Ottawa Public Library!

So I, @Halyma decided we needed cookies – as did Mirka, who brought yummy oatmeal cookies, but I was working from home and able to whip up these!

Recipe:

1 egg

1 cup unsalted, unsweetened peanut butter

1/2 cup sugar < I used icing sugar- it was all I had>

Mix it all up, and make tiny little teaspoon sized balls on cookies sheet – use half the batter for the plain golden ones.  I get 24 little balls on my cookie sheet.

Flatten with a fork dipped in water and bake at 325 degrees until golden – about 8-10 minutes.

While waiting for the first sheet to bake, I decided to get creative:

add to remaining  cookie dough

3 tablespoons of cocoa

1/4 cup rolled oats

1 teaspoon ginger powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

and bake these the same way.

Yield: 48 tiny little cookie bites and the spicy ones were more popular.
